We’re
looking for a developer to join our growing team in developing solutions within
the Customer Experience Platform (CXP) to solve specific business
problems/need.  

We
are working in partnership with Cornwall Council to enhance and improve the way
that they are able to respond to and deal with customer enquiries and problems.
We are currently implementing a new Customer Experience Platform (CXP) which is
underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). A lot of discovery work has been
done so far and we are now starting to develop the platform using an agile
delivery framework model, taking early opportunities to deliver value in tandem
to developing and evolving the platform. Your involvement in this team will
generate a more efficient process and improve the experience for our client’s
customers (the residents of Cornwall) as well as employees.

As
a part of this project, we are introducing a new resident portal, as well as a
new back-office case management solution for the council, so JavaScript and
user-centric design experience will be useful.

We
need someone who has the right attitude, will hit the ground running and be
self-driven to pick things up. Also important is someone who can quickly build
relationships with the team, particularly in the current totally remote
environment. 

Previous
experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is not essential, we have a number of
experienced developers who have joined the team with valuable knowledge and
experience in other areas, whilst picking up the Dynamics elements on the job.
We have a great blend of experienced Dynamics professionals, working with and
alongside more ‘traditional’ software developers from different backgrounds,
this multi-skilled team approach offers lots of opportunity to develop and
learn from each other as we avoid creating silos of knowledge.

To summarise you will: 

  • Have .NET, C#, Javascript and Azure experience (or a combination of similar technologies)
  • Define solutions on D365 to solve specific business problems/need 
  • Support the development of D365 and Power Platform portals 
  • Provide integration to various front end and back-end systems 
  • Work within an agile delivery framework to deliver iterative business value through the platform 
  • Be experienced with UX tools, and customer centric design
  • Be comfortable working in an Agile environment 
  • Have a willingness to develop and learn new skills (including picking up Dynamics 365 knowledge if no previous experience)
  • Have experience of related Microsoft products, for example SharePoint, Model-Driven Power Apps, MS Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power BI (these are advantageous but not at all essential)
